Lazar Nikolić

Two league titles and two cups in two seasons at Red Star Belgrade, and for one of them Nikolić did not play a single league match. The defender arrived in Belgrade in October 2022 on a free transfer and spent the 2022–23 campaign outside the league side entirely. The following season he got on the pitch: 13 league appearances and one in the cup, as Red Star took both trophies again.

What earned him the move was three years at Javor Ivanjica. He signed there in October 2019, also on a free, and became a fixture — 100 appearances and nine goals by the time he left in 2022.

Before that the record is thin. He came through Dubočica and OFK Beograd, debuting for OFK in 2016 and making two appearances before leaving through arbitration in March 2017. A year at Partizan brought no senior football. In August 2018 he joined SPAL in Italy on a free transfer, was loaned to Krupa in Bosnia for two appearances, and did not play for the club.

He moved to Vojvodina in July 2024, again for nothing, and has made around 59 league appearances there with a goal and an assist. He has featured in the Europa League and the Europa Conference League for both Red Star and Vojvodina.

Serbia capped him at youth level — six at under-16, 11 caps and two goals at under-18 between 2016 and 2017, six more at under-19. The senior call has not come.
