About the player
Mathias Greve came through Odense Boldklub's academy, joining as a boy in 2006 and working his way to a first-team debut in 2014.
The move to Randers paid off quickly. Greve made 44 appearances and scored 8 goals, and the high point came in the 2020–21 Danish Cup final: he scored twice as Randers beat SønderjyskE 4–0 to lift the trophy. He made 78 league appearances for Brøndby, scoring 3 goals, and won the Atlantic Cup with the club in 2023.
Greve returned to Randers FC in August 2024 on a free transfer, signing another four-year contract. At international level, he represented Denmark's youth sides, winning one cap for the U20s in 2014 and six for the U21s across 2015 and 2016, without finding the net at either level.
Statistically, Greve has built a reputation as a creator rather than a pure finisher: FotMob has ranked him in the 93rd percentile for chances created among left midfielders in the Danish Superliga.
