Mario Anibal Sandoval Toro

Sandoval is a product of Colo-Colo's youth ranks, with a 2011 loan to Deportes Puerto Montt marking his senior debut. From there his career settled into a pattern that has defined it ever since: short spells scattered across Chile's top and second divisions, with San Marcos de Arica, Deportes Copiapó, Santiago Morning and San Antonio Unido all featuring inside a five-year stretch. A second run at Melipilla between 2017 and 2019 gave him his longest stay at a single club before he moved on to Unión Española, where he stayed until 2021.

That period took him to two of Chile's biggest institutions in quick succession: after leaving Unión Española he had a season at Universidad de Chile in 2021, following his earlier connection to Colo-Colo as a boyhood product. Since then he has kept moving, with Curicó Unido occupying him through 2022 and 2023 before a year at Cobreloa in 2024.

Most of those switches, including his move to Deportes Limache in January 2025, have come as free transfers. He stayed at Limache only a few months before joining Deportes Concepción as a free agent on 29 July 2025, the latest stop in a journeyman path built on regular relocation rather than long tenures. At 165 cm, he is notably short for a midfielder, and he plays right-footed. He has not been capped by the Chile national team.
