About the player
Marek Icha broke through at FC Silon Táborsko, where he finished his youth development and made his senior debut in the 2019/2020 season after starting out at TJ Lokomotiva Veselí nad Lužnicí. In January 2022 he moved to SK Slavia Praha, a transfer worth around €100,000: he spent the first half of that season on loan at FC Sellier & Bellot Vlašim, then went out again to FK Pardubice from September 2022 to June 2024. He was on Slavia's books when the club won the Czech First League title in the 2022/2023 season.
Icha left permanently in June 2024, signing for Slovan Liberec on a contract running to June 2028, with the fee undisclosed. At 187cm he plays as a defender and is listed as comfortable with both feet.
He has represented the Czech Republic at youth level, collecting eight caps and two goals for the U20 side between 2021 and 2023, then seven caps for the U21s from 2022 to 2024. He has not been called up to the senior national team.
