Moussa Ndiaye

Moussa Ndiaye left Senegal for Barcelona's academy in 2020 and spent two seasons working through the club's junior sides before Barcelona B took him on. The step up to Anderlecht followed in 2022, and the Belgian club backed him with a contract extension through 2028, signed as recently as April 2025, with a further option attached. He went on to make 27 appearances in the Jupiler Pro League in the 2024/25 season alone.

His senior international recognition came in dramatic circumstances: named to Senegal's 2022 World Cup squad in Qatar as cover for the injured Sadio Mané, though he was left out of the final list and did not play. His actual debut arrived days later, on 16 November 2022, in a friendly against Qatar, where he set up a goal. He had already built a case at youth level, with ten caps for the under-20s and two for the under-23s.

February 2026 brought a loan to Schalke, a straight temporary deal with no purchase clause attached, despite reported interest from the German club in a permanent move worth roughly €1.5 million. Wearing number 16, the left-footed defender made 14 appearances across all competitions for Schalke and contributed two assists as the club secured the 2. Bundesliga title and promotion to the top flight.
