About the player
Vasić did not follow the usual academy path into professional football. He started out in Sweden's lower divisions as a midfielder before converting to striker at Bagarmossen Kärrtorp BK, and the move paid off in the years that followed. At Huddinge IF he scored 22 goals in 24 games in the fourth division, drawing attention for scoring bicycle kicks in consecutive matches. A free transfer to Akropolis IF followed, where he added 44 goals in 67 games across three seasons in the third tier.
A loan back to Vasalunds IF followed before he returned to Sweden for good in December 2021.
It was at IF Brommapojkarna, from January 2022, that Vasić's career turned. In the 2024 Allsvenskan season he scored 17 goals in 29 matches, winning the league's Golden Boot as top scorer and being named Forward of the Year. He became the first player in Brommapojkarna's history to win the Allsvenskan Golden Boot.
That form earned him a free transfer to Hammarby IF in August 2025. He stayed with the club until July 2026, when he terminated his contract via a release clause and joined GAIS on a free transfer for the remainder of the 2026 season.
