Nathan Lowe

The numbers do the talking for Nathan Lowe: eighteen goals in thirty appearances on loan at Walsall marked him out as a productive young forward, a run that earned him the EFL League Two Young Player of the Season award and the Young Player of the Month prize for October 2024, followed by the Player of the Month award in December. The standout moment came against Huddersfield Town in the EFL Cup, when he scored twice in seven minutes to help Walsall reach the third round for the first time in nine years.

Lowe came through the Stoke City academy, which he joined in May 2016 after starting out at Egerton. He turned professional in September 2022, and in July 2026 signed a new contract with the club running to 2029. Since then his career has been built almost entirely on loan spells away from Stoke. After the impressive stint at Walsall, he was recalled in January 2025 before moving on to Stockport County, though that loan was cut short by injury and he returned to Stoke in January 2026. He then joined Wycombe Wanderers for the remainder of the 2025–26 season, with a further loan to Hibernian for the following campaign already confirmed.

At international level, Lowe has represented England at Under-16, Under-17 and Under-19 level, taking three caps for the U19s. Stoke City have also recognised his progress off the pitch, awarding him the Broxap Outstanding Academy Achievement Award in September 2023 and the PFA Stoke City Community Champion honour for the 2023/24 season.
