Oscar Gloukh

Rehovot produced Oscar Gloukh through the Maccabi Sha'arayim academy before Maccabi Tel Aviv picked him up in 2010, and it was there, more than a decade later, that he made his senior debut in August 2021. He stayed in Tel Aviv until January 2023, when Red Bull Salzburg paid €7 million for him. His departure from Maccabi Tel Aviv had come without the domestic double he might have wanted — the club finished second in the Israeli Premier League that season, with Maccabi Haifa taking the title.

Gloukh's move to Ajax followed in August 2025, with the fee set at a base of €14.75 million and add-ons capable of pushing it to €17.25 million.

Internationally, he has been part of the Israel setup since his debut against Zambia in November 2022, and has since scored against Cyprus, Belarus, Romania, Moldova and Albania, taking his tally to five goals in 29 caps. He also turned out for Israel's under-23 side at the 2024 Paris Olympics, scoring against Paraguay. At the 2022 UEFA European Under-19 Championship, he scored in the final against England as Israel reached the showpiece match, a performance that earned him a place in the Team of the Tournament.
