Oralkhan Omirtayev

Two minutes after coming off the bench against Georgia on 19 November 2018, Oralkhan Omirtayev scored — his first goal for Kazakhstan. He had put together a hat-trick inside 17 minutes for Shakhter Karagandy against the reigning champions Astana, who had fielded a youth side, on 31 October 2018.

Omirtayev came through the youth ranks at Shakhter Karagandy and made his senior debut there in 2015, later signing a contract extension in November 2018. He moved to Tobol in December 2019, winning the Kazakhstan Super Cup in March 2021 after finishing as league runner-up the previous season. He returned to Shakhter that July, then went on to spend single seasons with Akzhayik and Atyrau.

In Belarus, he joined Slutsk in 2024, scoring four goals in 13 appearances, before moving on to BATE Borisov in July of that year, where he scored six goals in 14 league matches. His contract there was terminated in January 2025, and he returned to Kazakhstan with Aktobe, where he made 23 league appearances and scored four goals before the two sides parted in December 2025.

Omirtayev has been capped ten times by Kazakhstan, with two goals to his name at international level.
