Oleksandr Tymchyk

Oleksandr Tymchyk came through the Dynamo Kyiv academy, having joined the club from the amateur side BRV-VIK in September 2013. He won the Ukrainian U-19 and U-21 championships with Dynamo's youth teams in the 2014–15 and 2015–16 seasons.

A loan to Stal Kamianske brought 15 league appearances, followed by a brief spell at Zorya Luhansk. A longer loan to Zorya for the 2018–19 and 2019–20 seasons: Tymchyk made 51 league appearances and scored twice, and the club finished as bronze medallists in 2019–20. He returned to Dynamo Kyiv in July 2020.

Back at Dynamo, Tymchyk won Ukrainian Premier League titles in 2020–21 and 2024–25, the Ukrainian Cup in 2020–21 and 2025–26, and the Super Cup in 2020.

He made his senior debut for Ukraine on 3 September 2020, in a UEFA Nations League match against Switzerland, and scored his first international goal on 24 September 2022 in a 5–0 win over Armenia in the same competition. Tymchyk was selected for the Ukraine squads at UEFA Euro 2020 and UEFA Euro 2024, and had earned around 24 caps for the national side by early 2025.
