About the player
Villadsen came through the academy at FC Nordsjælland and made his first-team debut in August 2019, in a 2–2 draw away to Silkeborg IF. He went on to become a regular in the Nordsjælland side, making around 131 league appearances and scoring six goals before leaving the club in August 2024 for 1. FC Nürnberg. In his one season in Germany he made 26 appearances in the 2. Bundesliga plus two in the DFB-Pokal, without finding the net. That spell abroad ended after a single year, and in July 2025 he returned to Denmark to join Brøndby IF, signing a contract running to the summer of 2029.
At international level, Villadsen has represented Denmark from under-16 through to under-21 level, gathering close to 39 caps and two goals across the youth ranks, though he has not featured for the senior side.
He has taken the number 2 shirt at Brøndby.
