About the player
Osaze De Rosario scored in the 2025 Leagues Cup final, finishing off a 3-0 win over Inter Miami that sent Seattle Sounders into the FIFA Club World Cup.
In September 2021 he signed a three-year deal with Rukh Lviv in Ukraine and made his Ukrainian Premier League debut that October. The stay was cut short in February 2022, when he left the club by mutual consent nine days before Russia's full-scale invasion began, having been advised to get out of the country.
He joined York United in April 2022 and became the club's all-time leading scorer with 19 goals in all competitions, picking up a CPL Player of the Week award that season. In August 2023 he was banned for a month by the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport after testing positive for THC; he said he had eaten an unmarked dessert without realising what was in it.
A move to Tacoma Defiance, Seattle's MLS Next Pro side, followed in March 2024, and he was named the league's Player of the Year in 2025.
