P. Brunner

Paris Brunner arrived at Monaco in August 2024, having won the 2023 UEFA European Under-17 Championship and the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup with his country's under-17 side. At the European Championship he took both the Golden Ball and the Golden Boot, and at under-17 level for Germany he scored 20 goals in 25 caps.

Brunner grew up in Dortmund and passed through the youth ranks at Rot-Weiss Essen and VfL Bochum before Borussia Dortmund's academy took him on in 2020. He worked his way up to the club's under-23 side and made two appearances for Borussia Dortmund II in the 3. Liga before Monaco signed him for a fee reported between €3.5 million and €4 million, tying him to a contract until 2028.

Rather than easing him straight into the first team, Monaco sent Brunner out on loan to Cercle Brugge for the 2024–2025 season. Figures for that spell vary by source, with counts ranging between 18 and 28 appearances and between three and six goals, but the loan was a success and he returned to Monaco for the 2025–2026 season to continue his progress at the club.

He has continued to move up through Germany's youth teams, adding caps at under-18, under-19 and under-20 level, with five goals in 15 appearances for the under-19s and eight in four for the under-20s. A first call-up to the senior national side has yet to arrive.
