Pedrinho

Little of Pedrinho's early football is on record beyond his start at Corinthians, whose academy he joined in 2013 before making his senior debut four years later. That breakthrough side proved a good one: he was part of the squad that won the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A in 2017 and took the Campeonato Paulista in three straight years, from 2017 to 2019. He also picked up an individual honour as best player of the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior in 2017.

In March 2020 Benfica paid €20 million for him, though he stayed on at Corinthians until the Portuguese window opened. The move did not bring the trophies his time in Brazil had, and a single season in Lisbon passed without a major title.

Shakhtar Donetsk signed him in June 2021 for €18 million on a five-year deal, and the following season he won the Ukrainian Premier League and the Ukrainian Super Cup. A loan to Atlético Mineiro, agreed in June 2022 and later extended to 2024, brought back-to-back Campeonato Mineiro titles in 2023 and 2024 before he returned to Shakhtar.

Since coming back, Pedrinho was named Shakhtar Donetsk Player of the Month in both September and October 2025. At youth international level, he was part of the Brazil squad that won the Toulon Tournament at under-23 level in 2019.
