Ronaldo Daniel Chacón Zambrano

Chacón came through the Deportivo Táchira academy, joining as a boy in 2008 and working his way to a senior debut six years later. In his first full season with the first team, 2014–15, Táchira won the Venezuelan Primera División, and the young forward was part of that title-winning squad.

A move to Caracas FC followed in 2016, though much of his time there was spent away from the club. A loan took him to Slovakia, where he spent a season with FK Senica in the Fortuna Liga, before he was loaned again, to Academia Puerto Cabello, a switch that turned into a longer stay through 2021. Since then his career has moved between Venezuelan clubs and abroad in short spells: Carabobo FC in 2022, Deportivo La Guaira across 2023 and 2024, and a free transfer to Kosovo's KF Drenica in August 2025, before joining Estudiantes de Mérida FC on a free transfer in July 2026.

Internationally, Chacón's story has so far been written at youth level. He scored three goals in four appearances for Venezuela's under-17s in 2015, then became a regular for the under-20s in 2017, contributing two goals in 14 caps as the team reached the final of the FIFA U-20 World Cup and took third place at the South American U-20 Championship. A further five caps and a goal followed for the under-21s in 2018.
