About the player
In 2023 Reginaldo was named in the Campeonato Paulista Team of the Year while playing for Água Santa, a side he turned out for 15 times in the state championship. It came in his twelfth year as a professional.
The right-back came through at Novoperário, spent a season at Maringá and signed for Coritiba in 2014. He barely stayed: loans took him to ABC, Joinville and Oeste in quick succession, and a move to Londrina in 2017 brought another, to Linense. Athletico Paranaense signed him in 2018 and did much the same, sending him to Atlético-GO, where he played 24 Série B matches, scored once and set up two.
The settled years came at CRB. Between 2020 and 2022 he made more than 140 appearances, scoring four goals and providing ten assists as a regular in the Série B defence.
After the Paulista award he joined Juventude on loan and played 33 matches as the club won promotion to Série A. A 2024 loan took him to Kazakhstan with Ordabasy: 19 league games, one goal, one assist. He returned to Juventude for 2025, playing 18 times in Série A and six in the Gauchão.
Juventude went down, and in December 2025 Reginaldo moved to Náutico as a free agent. He has since made 19 Série B appearances for the Recife club, scoring one goal, plus a single match in the Campeonato Pernambucano.
