About the player
Robin Lisewski left as a free agent in the summer of 2025 for 1. FC Nürnberg. He had joined the Dortmund set-up in 2014 after starting out at SC Berchum/Garenfeld, and worked his way up through the U17s to the U19 side, where he was named captain for the 2024/25 season. With Dortmund's U19s he won the German U19 Championship in 2023/24 and later helped the side reach the semi-finals of the DFB-Nachwuchsliga. In March 2025 he had a brief taste of senior football, appearing on the Borussia Dortmund bench for a Champions League fixture against Lille, while also being listed with the club's reserve side.
At international youth level, Lisewski qualifies for Poland through dual citizenship and has earned two caps for the Poland U19 side.
Since moving to Nürnberg, the goalkeeper has settled in with the club's second team. In the 2025/26 season he was part of the 1. FC Nürnberg II squad that won the Regionalliga Bayern title, keeping nine clean sheets along the way. Standing at 195cm, he wears the number 13 shirt for the senior side.
