The high point of that spell came in 2019, when Orense won the Ecuadorian second-tier title, LigaPro Serie B, beating LDU Portoviejo across two legs, 1-2 away and 2-2 at home, for a 4-3 aggregate win. Silva played both finals and was singled out by the club as one of the protagonists of the campaign. The promotion that followed took Orense into the Primera A, and Silva is remembered at the club as one of the figures who helped take the team there from the lower divisions.

In April 2021, national team coach Gustavo Alfaro called him into a goalkeepers' microcycle with Ecuador's senior squad, though no competitive appearances for La Tri have been recorded since.

Silva has since committed his future to Orense, extending his contract with the club through to 2028.
