Ross Tierney

Ross Tierney's path to Bohemians' first team began at St. Kevin's Boys, which he joined at the age of eight. When the club amalgamated with Bohemians in 2018, he moved through the newly formed Bohs-SKB Academy at under-17 and under-19 level before making his senior debut on 27 May 2019, promoted from the youth system without a transfer fee.

He stayed with Bohemians until January 2022, when he signed for Scottish Premiership side Motherwell on an undisclosed fee, with the move completed on 1 January that year. The 2023–24 season took him to English League One club Walsall on loan, where he made 35 appearances across all competitions and scored three goals. He opened his account on his debut in the EFL Cup against Blackburn Rovers, and also found the net against Sheppey United in the FA Cup and Morecambe in the EFL Cup, adding three assists along the way.

Tierney returned to Motherwell when the loan ended in June 2024, but that same month he went back to Bohemians on a multi-year contract, again for an undisclosed fee. Bohemians finished fourth in the league in 2025.

At international level, Tierney has represented the Republic of Ireland at youth level rather than with the senior side. He earned nine caps and scored twice for the under-21s between 2021 and 2022, and added two appearances and a goal for the under-19s.
