Ryan Woon

Ryan Woon began his career at Hamilton Academical, and it was there, in the semi-final of the SPFL Trust Trophy in February 2023, that he scored the winning goal — though international duty kept him out of the final his side went on to win. He opened his senior scoring account for the club in the league that August, against Kelty Hearts, aged just 17.

Woon started out with the under-21s, helping them to the Professional Development League title before working his way into the first-team picture, where he has made 24 senior appearances and scored once. In January 2026 he joined Lincoln City on loan for the rest of the season. He scored 5 goals in 16 appearances and was part of the squad that won the EFL League One title and secured promotion to the Championship.

Woon has represented Scotland at Under-17, Under-19 and Under-21 level, scoring his first goal for the Under-21s in March 2025. He is also eligible to play for France and Ivory Coast through his father, Armand Oné, a former professional striker who turned out for Livingston, Partick Thistle and Cambridge United, though the son has so far only played for Scotland.
