About the player
Semir Telalović made his way up through German lower-league football. At SSV Ehingen-Süd he scored 20 goals in 58 appearances, and a move to FV Illertissen produced 14 goals in just 23 games. He joined Borussia Mönchengladbach's reserve side in January 2022. There he continued scoring freely, 22 goals in 50 appearances, and was rewarded with three first-team appearances for Gladbach in the 2022–2023 Bundesliga season, though he did not find the net at that level.
In September 2023 he left Germany for Blackburn Rovers, signing a three-year deal in the Championship. He made 17 appearances for the English club without scoring. He returned home in July 2024, joining SSV Ulm 1846, where he scored 12 goals in 29 matches over the 2024–2025 season.
Telalović joined 1. FC Nürnberg in May 2025, where he wore the number 17 shirt, though only eight appearances followed without a goal.
Telalović is right-footed and plays as a centre-forward. He has not been capped at senior international level, despite being of Bosnian descent and having been discussed in Bosnian media as a possible call-up.
