Samir Memisevic

Groningen signed him from Bosnian side Radnik Bijeljina in 2016 for an undisclosed fee — Memišević later said he personally compensated Radnik to secure his release — and he stayed in the Netherlands until February 2020, when Hebei China Fortune paid a reported €1.5 million for him. Two years later, in April 2022, Hebei loaned him out to Beijing Guoan before he returned to the club, by then renamed Hebei FC, that December.

His career had started close to home, at Slaven Živinice and Sloboda Tuzla, before a spell in Serbia took him through Teleoptik and Bežanija — including a second stint back at Teleoptik in 2014. It was at Radnik Bijeljina that he won his only major honour, lifting the Bosnia and Herzegovina Cup in the 2015/16 season, shortly before his move to Groningen.

Memišević has earned three caps for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team, debuting in a 1–3 friendly defeat to Spain in May 2016. He featured again in a 1–0 friendly win over Bulgaria in March 2018 and started a 3–0 UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying win over Liechtenstein in November 2019, without adding a goal at international level.

After Hebei, he joined Al-Nasr Dubai on a free transfer in January 2023, spending three seasons in the UAE Pro League and scoring once during the 2024/25 campaign. In January 2026 he moved on a free transfer to Qingdao, taking the number 5 shirt.
