T. Hranica

Timotej Hranica came up through Žilina's own academy, moving from the youth ranks into the U19 side, then to the reserve team, before a promotion to the senior squad in January 2024. He made his first senior appearances that season, playing seven times for the first team while still turning out regularly for Žilina B.

The following season brought more first-team football: 16 appearances for Žilina's senior side, two goals and an assist, alongside continued minutes for the B team. A brief spell away came in the form of a single appearance for OFK Malženice in the 2. Liga.

It was in 2025/2026 that Hranica established himself as a regular starter, making 26 league appearances and scoring twice. He was particularly productive in the Slovak Cup, scoring four goals in six appearances as Žilina won the competition, and he also featured in European football, playing in both the UEFA Conference League and the Europa League.

Alongside his club progress, Hranica has been capped at multiple Slovak youth levels, from the U18s through to the U21s, including appearances in UEFA U21 European Championship qualifiers. He has not yet featured for the senior national team.
