About the player
The season that reset his career came in Norway's fourth tier. In 2017, playing for Pors Grenland , Lauritsen scored 32 goals in 26 league matches in the 3.
He made four league appearances for Herkules Fotball in 2013 before the club withdrew from league play mid-season, then moved to Urædd FK, where he scored 11 goals in 20 league games. The first spell at Odd brought reserve-team football in the 2. divisjon in 2015 and one cup appearance in 2016, and he joined Pors Grenland that September.
The second spell at Odd lasted from 2018 to 2022 and gave him his grounding in the top flight: 103 league appearances and 18 goals in the Eliteserien. In August 2022 he transferred to Sparta Rotterdam for a fee of around €450,000, and was named in the Eredivisie Team of the Month in November 2022 and again in August 2023. He scored 12 goals in the 2025/26 campaign.
Sampdoria pursued him after his release and signed him on 18 July 2026, on a three-year deal running to June 2029; the fee was reported as free or undisclosed. He has represented Norway at youth level but has not been capped by the senior side, and has yet to win a domestic league or cup title.
