Tomson Geraldy Minda Borja

Tomson Minda's route to a first-team shirt has run through six clubs in four years. He made his senior debut with Universidad Católica in January 2022, though the stay was brief — a single league appearance before a move on. It was at Gualaceo SC, from 2023, that he became a regular contributor, scoring in a run of seven matches.

The clearest mark on his record so far came at El Nacional, where he signed in February 2024 and helped the club lift the Copa Ecuador that year. From there his path took an unusual turn abroad: in January 2025 he joined Real Tomayapo in Bolivia. He returned home for a spell at Técnico Universitario before signing for Mushuc Runa in January 2026 on a free transfer.

At Mushuc Runa he has found regular minutes rather than a regular place in the side: 23 appearances in the 2026 Serie A season, with 12 starts, for a total of 1,090 minutes. His returns have been modest — one goal and two assists — but he has gone the whole campaign without picking up a single card. Primarily deployed as a right winger, he has also filled in on the left and through the middle depending on what the team has needed.

He has not been called into the Ecuador national team, and his name was absent from the squad lists for recent major tournaments.
