About the player
Tomáš Solil is a Pardubice player through and through: he arrived at the club's youth ranks from SK Holice in 2009 and has never worn another senior shirt. He made his professional debut on 6 May 2018, and worked his way up through a squad rebuilding towards the top flight.
The breakthrough season came in 2019/20, when Solil was part of the group that won the Czech National Football League and sent Pardubice back into the Fortuna:Liga. He got his first taste of the top division on 23 August 2020, in a match against FK Jablonec, and by September of that year his form had earned him a call-up to the senior national team ahead of a Nations League fixture against Scotland.
Before all that, Solil had already built a lengthy record with the Czech youth sides, moving up through the U17, U18, U19 and U20 age groups and scoring at both U17 and U19 level. That international grounding, paired with the trust Pardubice showed by fast-tracking him from the academy into first-team football, shaped him into a central midfielder valued for his composure on the ball.
A right-footer standing 183 cm tall, Solil wears number 24 for Pardubice and remains, in market terms, a player whose value has continued to reflect the promise shown since that first top-flight appearance.
