About the player
Toni Herrero Oliva came through the Levante academy and made his senior debut for the reserve side, Atlético Levante UD, in September 2018. He was promoted to the Levante first team for the 2022–23 Segunda División campaign but never got onto the pitch for the senior side, and was sent out on loan to S.D. Amorebieta instead. That loan turned out to be the making of him: as a regular starter, he played 30 matches and scored once as Amorebieta won the Primera Federación title and went up to the Segunda División.
He joined C.E. Sabadell F.C. in 2023, making 34 appearances and scoring three goals, then moved on again in 2024 to CA Osasuna's reserve team, where he added 31 more appearances and three goals. In July 2025 he signed for Portugal's S.C. Farense in the Segunda Divisão, agreeing a contract to 2027 and taking the number 22 shirt. He has since made 31 appearances for the club, scoring once.
Herrero has represented Spain at youth level, earning five caps for the under-20s, including a spell at the 2019 COTIF Tournament, as well as caps for the under-19s and a single appearance for the under-18s. He has not been capped by the senior national team.
