Volodymyr Brazhko

Volodymyr Brazhko came through Dynamo Kyiv's academy after starting out at Metalurh Zaporizhzhia, signing his first senior contract with Dynamo in 2019. His progress took a detour in July 2022, when he was loaned to Zorya Luhansk for the season. He made 29 Ukrainian Premier League appearances for Zorya, scoring 7 goals, in a 3–2 win on 3 September 2022, and finished the campaign with a bronze medal before returning to Dynamo in June 2023.

Back at Dynamo, Brazhko established himself in the first team, finishing as league runner-up in 2023/24 and champion in 2024/25, a season in which he was also named Ukrainian Premier League Player of the Month, having already picked up the award once before, in November 2023. He added a Ukrainian Cup winner's medal in 2025/26.

His form drew interest from abroad. In January 2025, Wolverhampton Wanderers held talks over a move worth €20–22 million, but Dynamo turned down the offer. Brazhko responded by signing a contract extension with the club until 30 June 2029.

At international level, Brazhko made his senior debut for Ukraine on 21 March 2024, coming on as an 81st-minute substitute in a 2–1 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina in a Euro 2024 qualifying play-off. He had already tasted success at youth level, taking bronze with Ukraine's under-21s at the 2023 European Under-21 Championship, and had earned 9 caps for the senior side by June 2025.
