About the player
Vadym Sydun spent his youth years working through Ukraine's regional football league before joining the Karpaty Lviv academy, where he signed his first professional contract in August 2022. He worked his way up through the club's reserve side, Karpaty-2, where he scored seven goals in 21 Ukrainian Second League matches in the 2023–2024 season, and made his senior debut for Karpaty Lviv in the Persha Liga that October. His Ukrainian Premier League debut followed in August 2024.
A loan spell at Nyva Ternopil for the 2024–2025 season gave Sydun regular first-team football, and he responded with 19 appearances and three goals in the Persha Liga. His contract with Karpaty Lviv expired at the end of that season, and in July 2025 he moved to Epitsentr Kamianets-Podilskyi as a free agent.
Sydun established himself as a key attacking option at Epitsentr, finishing the 2025–2026 Ukrainian Premier League season with 29 appearances and eight goals. He was named among the standout players of a Premier League round after scoring a brace against Veres Rivne.
