Valentyn Rubchynskyi

At 165 centimetres and just 58 kilograms, Valentyn Rubchynskyi was born in Lutsk, came through Dnipro's youth ranks and made his senior debut for the club in the Ukrainian Second League in January 2018. Back at Dnipro-1, he became a regular in the Ukrainian Premier League, making 28 appearances in each of the 2022–23 and 2023–24 seasons and also featuring in European competition.

He moved to Dynamo Kyiv in July 2024. He scored three goals in 21 league appearances as Dynamo went unbeaten through 30 matches to win the title, and he came off the bench in the Ukrainian Cup final, which Dynamo lost to Shakhtar Donetsk on penalties.

Internationally, Rubchynskyi has moved through every Ukrainian youth level from U15 to U21, and he was part of the Ukraine U23 squad at the Paris Olympics, where he scored the country's first-ever Olympic football goal, in a 2-1 defeat to Iraq. He also won the Maurice Revello Tournament with the U23s in 2024. In March 2026 he went out on loan to Karpaty Lviv, a deal that included a buyout option, but he returned to Dynamo Kyiv that June when the loan was not extended.
