About the player
Vyacheslav Raskatov came through the Aksu Pavlodar football centre before moving into the Irtysh youth system, and it was Irtysh who gave him his senior football. He started out in 2024 in the Kazakhstan Second League, then stepped up to the First League in 2025, when he made 12 appearances and added two more in the Kazakhstan Cup. That season ended with the title: Irtysh won the First League and earned promotion to the Premier League for 2026.
In between, Raskatov spent time away from Pavlodar. He joined Kaspiy Aktau in July 2025, also in the First League, before returning to Irtysh on a free transfer in February 2026 — in time to be part of the club's first Premier League campaign. His top-flight debut came on March 7, 2026, when he came on as a substitute in a 2-2 draw against Ordabasy. Two appearances have followed at that level so far, and he already has an assist to his name for Irtysh.
Raskatov has also broken into Kazakhstan's Under-21 setup. He was capped for the first time in the summer of 2025, in a match against Andorra, and has since gone on to feature in UEFA European Under-21 Championship 2027 qualifying, taking his tally at that level to around five appearances.
