About the player
The move that took Zakaria Cassari out of Morocco came in the winter window of the 2025/26 season: on 16 January 2026 he left Union Touarga Sport Rabat for Alverca on loan. No significant fee was involved.
Before that he came through the Mohammed VI Football Academy in Salé, where he played in the under-19 side until 2024. From there he joined UTS Rabat, and it was during that period that he was first called up by Morocco at under-18 level.
