The club formed in 2022 and plays its home matches at Stadionul Agronomia, a ground that seats around 1,100. There is no confusing USV with the Iași institution that once wore the city's colours in the top flight and in European competition: FC Politehnica Iași, founded in 1945, was dissolved in 2026 after its finances collapsed. USV Iași did not inherit that history — it started fresh the year Politehnica was still playing.
Home kit is teal and light green, away kit white.
Any derby weight in Iași still belongs to the old rivalries the city built around Politehnica, and USV's task is to earn a place in that conversation rather than claim one already made.
