Bognor Regis Town

Nyewood Lane sits with the sea close enough to feel it, and everything about matchday there still runs through a name that changed once the sponsors arrived. It has hosted Bognor Regis Town since the club grew out of the town in 1883, and it was there, in a clubhouse behind the stands, that a fire took hold in 2008; what came back in its place was rebuilt as Seasons, and matchday still runs through it.

The Rocks made their name in West Sussex long before anyone talked of higher divisions, taking five league titles in the years either side of 1922 and building a rivalry with Littlehampton Town and Worthing that still gets billed as the South Coast derby. The FA Cup brought them to the Second Round four times, and in 2015–16 they reached an FA Trophy semi-final before Grimsby Town ended the run.

Relegation has bitten more than once — a double drop in 2009–10, and another fall out of the Isthmian League Premier Division in 2024–25 — and none of it has moved the club from Nyewood Lane, white and green still going out under floodlights within sight of the Sussex coast.
