Boleráz

A year after the club was formed, its footballers still played without a proper kit. Short of money, the squad collected what they could between themselves, and by 1929 had enough to order jerseys in green and white — the colours TJ Slavoj Boleráz has worn ever since.

The club took shape in 1928 in the village of Boleráz, in Slovakia's Trnava region, under the name Telovýchovná jednota Slavoj Boleráz, and marked ninety years in 2018. It has stayed a village club in scale as much as in spirit: home games are played at the Futbalový štadión TJ Slavoj Boleráz, an all-seater ground holding 483 people.

The youth side has had its moments — regional OM TT honours in 2006/07 and again the following season — but no trophy has been recorded for the first team. Boleráz plays in the 4. Liga, the fourth tier of Slovak football, in the western group, where the best recent finish came in 2024/25: second place, with the title going elsewhere.
