Real Madrid U19 beat Club Brugge U19 on penalties on 20 April 2026 to win the UEFA Youth League, after normal time in the final finished 1-1. To get there, the team went through Monaco, then edged Atlético Madrid on away goals after winning the second leg 4-0, and beat Benfica 3-1 in the semi-final.

The team has carried the Club NXT name since 1 July 2020, when Club Brugge folded its youth ranks and reserve side into a single structure built around Stadion Schiervelde, known commercially as The NEST. The academy long predates that rebrand: the parent club goes back to 1891.
