Haslum HK

Nadderud Arena holds 2,050 people, a size that suits a club whose men's side has spent most of its life competing for domestic honours without ever needing a bigger room. Haslum HK moved into the arena in February 2015, having grown out of the handball department of Haslum Idrettslag, the wider sports club founded in 1938; the handball section itself became its own entity on 1 May 1999.

Within little more than a decade of that split, Haslum was collecting Norwegian Championships, taking the title in 2010–11, 2011–12 and again in 2013–14, a stretch that also produced two of its four NM Cup wins, in 2010–11 and 2011–12, either side of an earlier one in 2004–05 and a later one in 2016–17. Thomas Håkonsen, a wing who came up through the club and stayed long enough to be known simply as "Mr. Haslum", was part of that generation, alongside Erlend Mamelund, a left back who left and returned more than once and kept winning titles each time he came back.

The closest the club has come to a European trophy was the 2012–13 EHF Challenge Cup, where Haslum reached the final and lost it. Domestically, the fiercest test still comes from Drammen HK, across what is played as the Bærum derby. Ole-Jacob Borch took over as head coach for the 2024–25 season, taking charge of a men's team that has held its place among Norway's top sides since the 2000s while the women's team, relegated in 2019, has not found its way back.
