Honduras U20

Luis Palma was in the squad that went to the 2019 World Cup and lost 0–12 to Norway; he later played for Lech Poznań and Celtic.

The side first appeared on 7 March 1962, beating Costa Rica 2–1 at the CONCACAF Youth Tournament.

Honduras have won the regional under-20 championship twice, in 1982 and 1994, though the first of those titles was withdrawn after overage players were found in the squad. Since then the closest thing to a title came in 2017, when the final against the United States went to penalties and Honduras lost there.

Nine qualifications for the FIFA U-20 World Cup, from 1977 through to 2023, have produced no knockout football at all. The best of them was the first: second place in the group in 1977. Bryan Róchez scored nine goals across the 2013–2015 cycle and moved on to Real Salt Lake and PAOK; Alberth Elis followed a similar route out, to Houston Dynamo and then Bordeaux.

Home is San Pedro Sula, where qualifiers are staged at the Estadio Olímpico Metropolitano. The Estadio Francisco Morazán, in the same city, takes the overflow. The federation running all of it dates to 1935 and joined FIFA eleven years later; it dropped the name FENAFUTH in April 2024 and now goes by the Football Federation of Honduras.
