Krieschow

Sportpark Krieschow holds about 2,000 people, of whom 262 can sit down. The rest belong to a stand put up in May 2021 with no roof over it. The ground serves a village inside the municipality of Kolkwitz, in the Spree-Neiße district of Brandenburg.

The club that plays there has changed its name more often than its address. Dissolved in 1948, it came back as SG Krieschow, then in 1950 as BSG Traktor Krieschow, tied to a local agricultural enterprise. After 1990 it went back to VfB Krieschow, and later added the founding year — 1921 — to the name.

Holger Fandrich, who had played in the DDR-Oberliga for BFC Dynamo and Energie Cottbus, took the side in 2012 and stayed four years. His son Clemens, a midfielder whose career took in Energie Cottbus and RB Leipzig, came to Krieschow in October 2023.

The Brandenburg-Liga title in 2017 carried them into the NOFV-Oberliga Süd. Nine years later came the afternoon that pushed them past anything before it: on 23 May 2026 they beat Energie Cottbus 2:1 in the final of the Brandenburger Landespokal.

That win put them in the DFB-Pokal for the first time. The first round of the 2026/27 competition sent 1. FSV Mainz 05 to them on 23 August, in front of some 4,000 spectators, and the score was 0:9.
