Miedź Legnica U19

Wiktor Bogacz came through the age groups at ulica Świerkowa and left in January 2025 for New York Red Bulls. Before that he had 27 appearances and 8 goals for the Legnica first team.

The academy itself dates to 2012, when Miedź set up Akademia Piłkarska Miedź Legnica as a structure rather than a loose collection of youth sides. Bartosz Kwiatkowski oversees the U19 group. The training complex on Świerkowa is where the daily work happens; matches are played at the Stadion Miejski im. Orła Białego.

Dawid Drachal followed a similar route out — Miedź, then Raków Częstochowa, then Jagiellonia Białystok. Patryk Makuch went from the youth teams to the senior side and was named the first division's player of the season before moving to Cracovia Kraków. Radosław Bella stayed: raised at the club, he came back to coach the youth teams and eventually took charge of the first team.

The fixtures that matter most are against Zagłębie Lubin U19 and Śląsk Wrocław U19. Against Zagłębie the older label sometimes surfaces, Derby Zagłębia Miedziowego.

No national junior title has come to the football side.
