Legia Warszawa U19

Warsaw's football has been split between two names for most of a century, and the junior sides carry the same argument as the seniors: when the U19s meet Polonia Warszawa it is still the Derby Warszawy.

The academy sides train and play at the Legia Training Center in Książenice, outside the city. It is a working ground rather than a stadium.

The parent club dates itself to 14 March 1916, formed as Drużyna Sportowa Legia at Kostiuchnówka in Volhynia during the First World War, and reactivated in Warsaw on the same date four years later.

The U19s won the Polish junior championship in 1969, then waited forty-four years for the second. The 2013 title began a run that produced another in 2015 and a fourth in 2024, with the U17 side taking their own national title in 2019.
