The club's full name, Minsk Regional Handball Club, points to a distinction locals take for granted and outsiders miss: MRHC represents the Minsk Region, not the city club of the same name. SKA Minsk carries the capital's banner in the Extraliga; MRHC plays for the oblast around it, and the two are sometimes confused precisely because they share a training pipeline and a city.

Matches are played at Dom Gandbola, the House of Handball on Filimonova Street, part of the Republican Centre of Olympic Reserve rather than the SKA arena across town on Burdeynogo Street. It is a working hall for a working club, built for development squads more than for crowds.
