Multi Esens

Multi Esens reached the top flight of Macedonian handball on its first attempt, taking the First League title in the 2022–23 season and earning promotion to the Super League. The same season, its cadet side added the national cadet championship, and the following year the youth team went unbeaten through the Mladinska Liga, finishing on 72 points from 24 wins.

The club exists because of a decision by the pharmaceutical company Alkaloid AD Skopje, which set up Multi Esens in 2022 as a second team feeding players into its senior side, RK Alkaloid. Blue and white, the colours of the parent club, run through both.

Dimitar Uzunchev came through that pipeline and was named MVP of the Super League playoffs in 2023–24 before Slovenian side Celje Pivovarna Laško signed him away. Valentin Karasmanakis moved between Multi Esens and Alkaloid and was called into the Macedonian national squad; Darin Omeragikj has carried much of the scoring load on the floor.

Its closest matches come against Alkaloid itself, the club that created it, though Multi Esens also measures itself against HC Butel Skopje, RK Vardar Negotino and HC Struga in the Super League.
