Tempo Overijse

Two clubs from the same corner of Flemish Brabant put their paperwork together in 1998, and one of them kept the other's number. KFC Overijse had been registered since 1934; VEM Tombeek had already absorbed Eendracht Abstraat in 1986 and FC Maleizen in 1991. When the merged club took the field it did so under Tombeek's association number, 8715.

What followed was a decade of provincial promotions. Another Eerste Provinciale title arrived in 2008–2009, and by 2014–2015 the club had won Vierde Klasse B. The most recent came in 2025–2026, in Derde Afdeling VV A, though the side still sits in the fifth tier of Belgian football.

Red and white have been the colours since the merger. That ends after this season: from 2026/2027 the club will play in what it calls Druiven-Paars, grape purple.

The fixture against ERC Hoeilaart is played in July rather than for points.

The name that travels furthest out of the Begijnhofstadion academy is Dion Cools , a defender who came through at Overijse and went on to Club Brugge, then Zulte Waregem and FC Midtjylland. He plays his international football for Malaysia.
