Veľké Ludince

Veľké Ludince is a village in the Levice District of southern Slovakia. TJ Družstevník Veľké Ludince , also known as FK Veľké Ludince, is the club.

On paper the story starts in the 1982/83 season, in the II. trieda, the lowest rung of district football. From 1988 the side worked its way up through those district competitions year on year, until it reached the 3. Liga, the third tier of Slovak football, where it has now stayed for more than twenty seasons, playing in the West group since 2014/15.

In the Slovnaft Cup the club has twice reached the third round: in 2016/17, losing 0-1 to Slovan Bratislava, and again in 2024/25, going out 0-3 to DAC Dunajská Streda. There is no Slovak Cup or league title in the cabinet, and no academy graduate has gone on to the senior national team.

Locally, the fixture that matters is against OK Častkovce. Matches are played at the Štadión Družstevník, the team in yellow shirts and blue shorts, in front of a ground that holds 800.
