Aspmyra Stadion

Aspmyra Stadion has made a habit of unsettling clubs several sizes larger than Bodø/Glimt. Before the Europa Conference League play-off in February 2022, Celtic refused to train on the pitch at all, citing the surface and the weather. Bodø/Glimt won 2-0. Tottenham left with a 2-2 draw, Lazio have also visited in the Europa League, and in January 2026 Manchester City were beaten 3-1 in the Champions League.

The ground dates to 1966, built by the municipality for Bodø/Glimt and fellow local club Grand Bodø. Natural grass gave way to an artificial surface in 2006, and a new west stand completed in 2022 pushed capacity to its current 8,270, all seated.

Norway have played here too: Ole Gunnar Solskjær scored the only goal in a 1-0 win over Iceland in May 2002, watched by 8,126 people. The record crowd goes back further — 12,189 packed in for a Cup tie against Viking in 1975. In 2001, new floodlights drew complaints from Bodø airport, whose pilots found the glare distracting.
