BCF Arena

BCF Arena sits at Chemin Saint-Léonard 5, an address that has changed its meaning since the venue first opened its doors in 1983.

A major reconstruction took place from 2018 to 2020, designed by bfik architectes, which reshaped the entire interior. The renovation increased the capacity from 6,500 to 9,262 seats, splitting the space into 6,434 seats, 2,500 standing places, 336 suite seats, and 76 'Dine & View' seats. Inside, the home team, HC Fribourg-Gottéron, plays in the Swiss National League.

The arena is owned by the city of Fribourg and managed by HC Fribourg-Gottéron SA. It has become a hub for more than just hockey, hosting the Bellarena Indoor Festival which features concerts such as the 2024 summer edition with artists like Bryan Adams and Gims. In 2024, the booking of Patrick Bruel sparked controversy and led to the postponement of his concert due to sexual violence allegations. The venue is also scheduled to host Group B games for the 2026 IIHF World Championship.
