Braidholm

Braidholm carries the weight of a merger made permanent. The ground opened in January 1971 as a home for Clarkston RFC, long before the local clubs joined forces to form Glasgow Hutchesons Aloysians.

The pitch tells a different story. The surface is an artificial JWF 3G pitch, laid down after a two-year campaign that began in 2018 and concluded with an opening ceremony in February 2024.

The stands hold 3,500 spectators, with another 200 tucked into the clubhouse hospitality suite. Braidholm now hosts the Scottish Inter-District Championship Finals Day, a fixture that places the ground on the national calendar alongside larger venues.

When the ground opened in 1971, it was three pitches and a small stand.
