Cancha de Belgrano
Córdoba, Argentina
Formerly: Estadio Belgrano
The ground sits close to the street.
The stadium is the home of Club Atlético Belgrano and bears the name Estadio Julio César Villagra. It opened in 1929 as Estadio Belgrano, keeping that title until 1993 when it was renamed for a former player. The surface is natural grass.
The most recent change came with the completion of the Tribuna Cuéllar in September 2024, a section that pushed the capacity to 38,500. Before that, older sources cited figures as low as 24,000.
The venue has hosted matches beyond the local league, including a friendly against the Argentina U20 side in 1997 and several Copa Argentina games. It also saw a decisive playoff between Los Andes and Sarmiento (La Banda) in late 2024. Women's football has drawn significant crowds here, with 28,000 attending a 2022 match and another 26,500 for a December 2025 final.
The atmosphere is shaped by the proximity to the city.
