Cherenkov spent his career at Spartak and never wore another shirt in Moscow; giving his name to the pitch where the club's next generation trains was never in question.

The ground sits inside the club's academy grounds on Maly Oleny Lane, one of several fields there, and its heated artificial surface keeps it playable through the Moscow winter — a practical necessity for a facility meant to run academy fixtures year-round rather than a showpiece. Older paperwork still lists it plainly as Field No. 4, a reminder that the stadium grew out of a working training complex rather than the other way round.
